Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting on the north side of Indianapolis that left one woman dead and two others injured.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called just before 1:00 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the 4000 block of Park Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim has been identified as Brittany Grundy. She was transported to a local hospital for emergency care, but later died from her injuries.

No suspects have been publicly identified, and no arrests have been made at this time as the investigation remains ongoing.
Brittany Grundy’s passing has left those who knew her grappling with a profound sense of loss. She is being remembered as a life gone too soon, with loved ones and community members now holding onto memories as they try to come to terms with the tragedy.
