Jefferson County, AR — May 2, 2026 — A tragic ATV crash during a trail ride has claimed the life of a local man in the area of Princeton Pike Road and Hardin Reed Road, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say 53-year-old Anthony Rouse was operating a four-wheeler (ATV) on Princeton Pike Road when he lost control for reasons still under investigation. The ATV left the roadway and overturned multiple times, resulting in a devastating crash.
Emergency responders were called to the scene, but despite efforts, Mr. Rouse sustained fatal injuries, including a severe head trauma, and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
