Ryan Eiler Obituary, Death—The Shakopee community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Ryan Eiler, a beloved teacher, coach, and member of the Minnesota National Guard, who died in a car crash on Sunday afternoon. He was 32.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred around 12:38 p.m. on northbound Highway 169 near Highway 62 in Edina. Authorities reported that Eiler’s vehicle suddenly veered left and struck a ا median barrier. Despite wearing a seat belt, he sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials noted that alcohol is not suspected as a factor, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Ryan Eiler had been a valued member of the Shakopee Public Schools since 2021, serving as a health and physical education teacher at Shakopee High School. In that role, he became known for his energy, humor, and deep commitment to his students’ well-being.
