We are deeply saddened by the passing of Carl Lindsay, a man whose presence left an enduring mark on the Hurst community and, most especially, on the L.D. Bell baseball family. Carl was not simply a supporter—he was a cornerstone of the program, a constant and passionate force whose devotion spanned more than 25 years.

To generations of players, coaches, and fans, Carl was synonymous with Bell Baseball. He was there through every high and low—standing in the dugout, cheering from the stands, and working tirelessly behind the scenes. His voice carried across the field, full of pride and encouragement, lifting spirits and reminding everyone what it meant to wear the Blue Raider uniform. His enthusiasm was unmatched, his loyalty unwavering, and his love for the game—and for the people in it—was unmistakable.
Carl didn’t just attend games; he lived every moment of them. He celebrated victories as if they were his own and stood firmly beside the team in challenging times. His presence brought energy, unity, and a sense of purpose that extended far beyond the scoreboard. For many players, he was more than a fan—he was a mentor, a motivator, and a familiar, reassuring figure who believed in them wholeheartedly.
The impact Carl made cannot be measured in wins or seasons. It is found in the countless lives he touched, the confidence he inspired, and the traditions he helped strengthen. His absence leaves a silence that will be deeply felt—in the dugout, in the stands, and in the hearts of all who knew him.
As we mourn this loss, we also celebrate a life so generously given to others. Carl’s spirit will remain a part of every game played, every cheer shouted, and every moment shared on that field. His legacy will continue through the players and community he loved so deeply.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to Carl’s family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched. May you find comfort in the memories he created and the lasting impact he leaves behind.
Rest easy, Carl. You will forever be a Blue Raider.
