The York County Coroner’s Office has identified a 31-year-old York City man who was found dead early Friday morning in what investigators have ruled a homicide.

Authorities say Nidair Jordon Collier was discovered on the 200 block of South Hartley Street, located in a breezeway between residential homes. York City Police were first called to the scene around 5:30 a.m. after reports of a man found unresponsive. Emergency responders arrived shortly after, and the coroner was requested to the scene around 9 a.m. to officially certify the death.
According to the coroner’s office, an autopsy was completed on Saturday. The results confirmed that Collier died from multiple gunshot wounds and sharp force trauma. Officials have classified his death as a homicide.
Investigators have not yet released details on what may have led to the fatal incident. The investigation remains active as detectives work to piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Police have also identified Angelica Caraballo as a person of interest in connection with the case. Authorities are currently attempting to locate her for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation.
York City Police are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual in the area around the time of the incident to come forward. Officials say even small details could help move the investigation forward.
