Authorities confirmed that the victims were found on Monday morning inside a home in the 7900 block of Auble Moody Road in Wilmer. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office identified them as the three residents of the home where the tragedy unfolded. Officials also confirmed that Keziah Luker was pregnant at the time of her death, a detail that has deepened the grief surrounding the case.

According to Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch, the victims were discovered by a family member after what investigators believe was a violent incident that occurred sometime overnight.

Investigators reported that all three victims had their hands bound behind their backs with what appeared to be zip ties or flex cuffs, indicating they were restrained during the attack. Sheriff Burch described a disturbing and disarrayed scene inside the residence, suggesting it had been searched.

Authorities said Lisa Ferguson suffered both stabbing wounds and a fatal throat injury, Keziah Luker was fatally shot, and 12-year-old Thomas Cordell also suffered a fatal throat injury. The violence of the attack has left investigators and the community in shock and mourning.

Officials also confirmed that an 18-month-old child was inside the home at the time of the incident but was not physically harmed and has since been placed safely with family members.

At this time, no suspects have been identified, and investigators say there is no indication the case is domestic in nature. Detectives continue to process evidence and follow leads as they work to determine what led to the deadly attack.

As the investigation continues, Wilmer is left grieving an unimaginable loss, as loved ones remember three lives taken far too soon in a tragedy that has forever changed a family and shaken an entire community.
