MANALAPAN, NJ — The Madhouse Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy community is mourning the loss of Daniel Goetz, a cherished training partner, devoted friend, and respected martial artist whose passing has left a profound void in the hearts of teammates, friends, and loved ones.

His unexpected death has shaken the close-knit community, as members reflect on the lasting impact of his life and the joy he brought to those around him. In a heartfelt statement, the academy expressed the deep sorrow felt by everyone who trained alongside Goetz.

Visitation for Daniel Goetz is scheduled for Monday, March 30, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, located at 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ 07726. In respect for his memory, all afternoon and evening classes at the academy will be canceled that day.
