The Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania community and the wider Scottsville area are mourning the tragic loss of 19-year-old Tripp M. Dwyer, who died following a devastating two-vehicle crash on May 14, 2026, in the 7500 block of Scottsville Road in Scottsville, Virginia.

According to the Albemarle County Police Department, emergency crews responded to the scene at approximately 2:35 p.m. alongside Albemarle County Fire Rescue, where three individuals were found in life-threatening condition. All victims were rushed to UVA Health for emergency treatment.

Authorities later confirmed that Dwyer, who was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the collision, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Investigators noted that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
